Tucked in the seaside town of Nelsons Bay is The Only Place Indian Restaurant. Established 20 years ago by award-winning chefs, the family business serves authentic Indian cuisine and casual eats. Gather was engaged to redevelop the tired space, including a new bar, provision for increased serving capacity, and a freshened dining area for the new generation of clients.

The brief was to incorporate rich, earthy tones, reminiscent of Indian heritage, and to create a modern, fresh dining experience. The project required redesign of the existing floor plan, including custom cabinetry, built-in bench seating, management of all trades, including relocation of pipework, electrical, building and a short interruption to business as usual. This project was executed within a 6 day turn around.
